When her mom suffered a debilitating stroke after the heart surgery, Linda knew she had to do something. She didn't want to suffer the same fate. Larry also had struggled with his weight all his life, going up and down like a yo-yo, 100 or more pounds at a time, every few years. So they decided to lose weight together, and after 3 1/2 years, they've dropped a combined 142 pounds. They now fit into "regular size" clothes, and no one recognizes them at weddings, Linda reports. Larry competes with people half his age in the martial arts. And they finally both fit comfortably on Larry's Harley Davidson motorcycle. Their combined weight loss has had such an impact on their lives that they've been selected among the regional winners in the Weight Watchers' Inspiring Stories of the Year contest.
Macbook Air is not an Apple innovation
Seriously this was just an excuse to rant at apple, for being good at what they do, when you were listing all those companies that would bring out something like apples airbook in the next couple of months you missed the most important point..yet again they are all following its lead!
I use PCs I don't even have an Apple, I do have an Ipod, and even I'm willing to admit, without them, this industry would b very very dull indeed.
I suggest you grow up, this article has let down the whole site.

Sir William Stewart was commissioned by the UK government to research potential effects (Stewart Report, May 2000), yet have ignored all his advice when he found a link between masts and illnesses - specifically in placing masts near schools.

The Pantone Color Institute announced blue iris as the color of the year, and it's already cropping up everywhere, but its close cousin, purple, is gaining popularity as well. The Army sniper who allegedly shot and killed his estranged wife in a Cheyenne bar was transported to Ivinson Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead on Tuesday with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. David Munis, 36, was pronounced dead at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Albany County Sheriffs Office spokesman Michael Garcia said it appeared Munis had shot himself with a high-powered rifle in a remote trailer northwest of Laramie and about eight miles from where investigators had found his truck in Rogers Canyon. Acccording to Garcia, an anonymous source who was out riding on horseback on Tuesday called dispatch from a cell phone at 7 p.m., saying he had spotted a man fitting Munis description standing outside of the camper. At the time of the call, Garcia said teams were still searching around the Rogers Canyon area.
Dogs take last laps at CC Greyhound Race Track today
Pimentel said the track has found homes for about 100 dogs. Several have gone or will go to other tracks, but about 70 will still need homes after the last race. The quiet west Boston suburb of Allston could hardly be more different to Mônica Chianelli's native city of Rio de Janeiro. But it is the unlikely setting for Vida Verde, her house cleaning co-operative that is one of a growing number of successful Brazilian businesses in the US. Ms Chianelli had a small farm and a home-made pasta company in Brazil before giving up and leaving for the US. 100-Plus Vehicles Impounded In Lynwood Street Racing Crackdown
The crackdown, part of the sheriff's department new zero-tolerance for street racers and spectators, started at 8 p.m. and lasted for hours. It took place at the corner of Long Beach Boulevard and Imperial Highway and involved more than 80 deputies and 20 Highway Patrol officers. .
